I grew up in a little town called Wainuiomata east of Wellington City. I was privileged growing up in Wainui with the outdoors on our back doorstep. I spent a lot of my childhood at our family hut, Tahora, in the Orongorongo Valley just over the hill from Wainui. There I gained a passion for the outdoors and our native flora and fauna.
After completing a Parks and Recreation Management degree at Lincoln University I did a few stints working for DoC and got to see some beautiful parts of NZ including Molesworth Station, Fiordland and Codfish Island.
Now I’m closer to home and the Orongorongos living in the Wairarapa with my husband Jason.
In my travels around NZ and more recently in my backyard, the Wairarapa, I have taken some simple photos of scenes that have captured me. After playing around with Christmas cards for family and friends for the last few years I decided to try and sell my cards to those that enjoy the images.
